Princeton University is a vibrant community of scholarship and learning who stood in the service of the nation and serve all Nations. Chartered in 1746, Princeton is the fourth-oldest college in the United States. Princeton is an independent, coeducational, nondenominational which provides undergraduate and graduate instruction in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and engineering. 

As a world-renowned research University, Princeton seeks to achieve the highest levels of distinction in the discovery and transmission of knowledge and understanding. At the same time, Princeton is different between university research in its commitment to undergraduate teaching.

Library 

Princeton University Library is one of the research libraries of the world's most famous, consists of the Harvey s. Firestone Memorial Library and nine buildings across the campus. 

The library's collections include more than 8 million books, 6 million microforms, 49000 linear feet of manuscripts, and impressive rare book holdings, prints, archives and other materials that require special handling. The library's extensive electronic resources including databases and journals, statistical packages, images and digital map.

Princeton University, located in the heart of Princeton, New Jersey, welcomes visitors to campus. Every year, many visitors host Princeton interested in many educational activities, scientific, cultural, recreational and athletic events that enrich the University and the community.
Public transportation buses, trains and highways puts Princeton within easy reach (less than one hour) from the major urban centers of Philadelphia and Trenton to the South, Newark and New York in the North. International airports are located in Philadelphia, Newark and New York. The bus and train stations to these cities is also adjacent to the campus.
