The goal of the Institute for humane education (IHE) is to create a world that is just, humane and sustainable through education.
The Vision Of IHE
The Institute for Humane Education believe that education is the key to creating a world that is just, humane and sustainable for all people, animals and the environment. We offer programs and resources that are designed to train, educate, and inspire people to be humane educators and changemakers, and live with compassion and integrity while working to solve the most pressing challenges of our time.
The achievement of that on offer IHE
offering education and training opportunities, including five accredited postgraduate courses and workshops, to people all over the world
provide relevant resources and tools for educators, activists, and citizens
promote humane education and work to define the purpose of education
IHE believes that in order to create a world that is just, humane, sustainable, and humane education should be at the core of all education. Humane education helps people:
- Know what is really happening on our planet, to other people, other species, and ecosystems that sustain us all
- The experience of reverence, respect and a sense of responsibility for others and nature
- Think critically and creatively and to evaluate all information intelligently
- Appreciate that their life has the ability to make a difference through their individual choice, their work and their citizenship
- Get the passion and the tools to successfully solve problems
If the type of education offered to children, adolescents, college students and adults, we all will be able to apply the knowledge, skills and passion towards change is interesting, innovative, and meaningful.
That's the power and promise of humane education, and also it is the goal at the IHE for making a vision into reality.

Our workshop is an intensive, one designed to help you act on what is most important to you and to achieve positive changes in your life, your work, and Your local and global community.
Whether you're a parent, educator, activist or concerned citizen, our workshop offers tools, motivation, and knowledge to make choices in everyday life and your system supports & helped create that do the most good and the least harm to all the people, animals and the planet.
The format is usually a full or half day, we offer our workshop around the u.s. and Canada and occasionally overseas. Working with IHE to bring people to your community!
